글입니다. 발바닥으로 병을 진단하고 또 치료한다는 컬트 부류에 관한
내용입니다. 그렇게 해서 암을 진단하고 치료해 주는 대가로 거액을 받았
다가 법원으로부터 배상판결이 나왔습니다.
유사한 사례는 많을 것입니다. 우리 주위에서도 유명 목사가 안수기도를
해 주고 거액을 받은 신문보도를 읽었습니다. 컬트가 따로 없다고 봅니다.
또 온갖 근거 없는 대체의학으로 병을 치료하는 경우도 마찬가지입니다.
어느 대학 한방병원에서는 커다란 피라미드 모형을 만들어 환자를 치료한
다고 합니다. 컬트나 마찬가지가 아닐까요?

JAPAN: COURT RULING AGAINST SOLE HEALER CULT
Hogen Fukunaga, the leader of the Ho-no-Hana Sampagya cult, doesn't
read people's palms but the soles of their feet. And he claims to be
able to diagnose and cure their illnesses that way for a price. Victims
with the "diagnosis" cancer are told that they can save their lives only
by giving millions of yen to the cult. A Japanese court ordered the sole
healer now to pay compensation of one hundred million yen to 16 of
his victims. This is the second ruling against the cult.
